Welcome

This site is based on the book Living Water: Baptism as a Way of Life.  It is a place to share stories about living in keeping with what you believe. How are you faithfully living an “undivided life” focused on the common good? What do you dream and wonder? What are your hopes and struggles?

“It is no trifling matter…
 it is your very life!”

You are invited to come, learn, grow, and practice faithful living through the lens of the baptismal covenant questions of the Episcopal Church as found in the Book of Common Prayer.  While specific to that tradition, the vows speak universal Christian imperatives.  In addition to three questions about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, the vows are:

* Will you continue in the apostles teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in the prayers?
*Will you persevere in resisting evil, and, WHENEVER you sin, repent and return to God?
*Will you proclaim by word AND example, the good news of God in Christ?
*Will you seek and serve Christ in ALL persons, loving your neighbor as yourself?
*Will you strive for justice and peace and respect the dignity of EVERY human being.
*Will you cherish the wondrous works of God, and protect the beauty and integrity of all creation?
